Surprisingly, GREAT food. Be ready to be blown away by the service and food quality. The pancakes are very soft, and the biscuits and gravy come with a boatload of gravy. Overall, the biscuits are soft, the waffles are crispy, and the eggs are well seasoned. Stopped by with 7 buddies for a late breakfast. Owner is extremely personable and the food was awesome. We may just come here the rest of the week.

The friendliest place I have eaten at in a long time. The man and woman running the place were super friendly and knew almost everyone in the place.Breakfast plate was delicious, they threw on gravy for no extra charge, and it was on my table in about 10 minutes.Food: 5/5

Shorty's is the best breakfast place in Irving! Service is always amazing, food is perfect. It is hole in the wall gem.Vegetarian options: Like most breakfast places, it is easy to get something without meat.
