My wife and I were staying in Brienz but looking for something easy, fresh, enjoyable, local and definitely Swiss. We found this gem in Iseltwald (which by the way is the cutest town-a must see!) and had no idea what to expect. We ate outside....had Wurstkäsesalat.... we had to ask what that was... a green salad with a Swiss sausage sliced...it was delicious! Unfortunately we were not allowed in because we had a small dog with us. Probably the only restaurant in Switzerland where dogs are not allowed. There were almost no other guests and I don't see why they had to be so strict about it. read more.
