My wife and I were staying in Brienz but looking for something easy, fresh, enjoyable, local and definitely Swiss. We found this gem in Iseltwald (which by the way is the cutest town-a must see!) and had no idea what to expect. We ate outside....had Wurstkäsesalat.... we had to ask what that was... a green salad with a Swiss sausage sliced...it was delicious! The greens were fresh, the salad dressing perfectly matche... Not suitable for tourists. At 7.30pm we asked if they had room in the restaurant as it was written outside we serve hot food until 8pm. Three free tables in front of our eyes and the waitress rudely chased us away saying only full she didn 't even respond to our friendly greeting . View all feedback.
