"This is a wonderful place and so inconspicuous you could easily pass by it. The family that runs it are so nice and the food is homemade and regional. I'm from Abruzzo and this place was like eating at my families homes. We were 7 and went along with the young chefs antipasti suggestions of 4 orders each served family style of Tradizionale traditional meats Salami/Sausages cheese all made in the area and Kmzero an assortment of fried or baked vegetables, etc. of the day. They also gave us a small bowl of their small meatballs which literally melt in your mouth (addicting! . The appetizers were so much we could only order 2 Primi Piatti to share and chose the Piaccheri alla Contadina (Rigatoni Ravioloni Al'Abruzzese (Ravioli which were outstanding. So we passed on the secondi piatti but I would have loved to try their veal dish. The wine they recommended was Montepulciano D'Abruzzo doc Costa del Mulino, and excellent. It's a very small place so I suggest making reservations. A definite return on my next trip."
