There are limited vegan options, but I really liked the creamy vegan bean curry with fried vegetables. updated by the previous review on 2020-04-29
This place is fantastic, and 100% worth a visit. the staff are friendly and obviously take care of the preparation of the food (they can observe how they cook from the opposite.) the atmosphere is great, with many interesting books and records etc. in the interior. they also ensured cleanliness, asked us to refurbish our hands and check our temperatures on the way away. there are many vegan options, I had the 5 bean soy milk curry and it was really great so delicious and fill. I have it with fried vegetables that were crispy and salty and perfect (they can get steamed vegetables if they want something healthier! if they travel with non vegan, they also have here options, my partner was very happy, the traditional okinawa soba (not vegan great lunch for all!
We had the curry with steamed and fried vegetables. the curry itself is delicious and tasteful. the sweet was divine and local! the roasted spinat type green was great as the steamed pumpkin. really recommend it is a beautiful place! there are also some additional dinge in the main menu that could be vegetarian, but I did not ask. the personal also speaks English.
This restaurant has basically two main vegan options: tomato pasta or soy bean curry plus some sides and really yummy salads. We tried everything and it was all so delicious. Highly recommend. Staff are super nice, we speak Japanese so it was no problem for us however I can judge by other guests that the staff didn’t speak English super well but they seem to understand vegan so don’t worry! Green curry contains Milk just in case you’re wondering!
