raps nui is not a vegan paradise. However, the people are very friendly and they can easily get some vegan/vegetarian food: just ask! we tried this restaurant because it has a stunning view of the sea and eating is cheap (on the island eat is almost everywhere expensive.) we asked for rice and vegetables, we say are vegan and the waiter in the grunde invented a vegetarian menu mixed salad, rice and gazed vegetables.... the staff was very nice, but there was almost no option. we paid for a regular menu and asked to replace the fish/hun with vegetables. they were very friendly and replaced it with red paprika, swirling and carrots.
