"If you have a seafood allergy or simply dislike fish, read no further because this review is a paean of praise for a chef who prepares shellfish and fresh fish in ways you would never have thought possible. From the freshly baked bread with smoked mackerel butter topped with caviar through the scallops, prawns, mussels, clams, hake, monkfish and baby lobster, every mouthful produces a delicious series of flavours like no other. The restaurant is small and intimate and, on the evening we were there, hosted a truly international clientele. The atmosphere is warm, the service is friendly and the pace is well judged. My main regret is that is so far from our home that we are unable to visit on a regular basis."

"If you're doing the drive on the NE side of Skye, this is a great place for lunch. The location in the hotel is scenic and beautiful, the bar looked awesome, the staff were friendly, and the food was both tasty and artfully presented. Our group had the pea soup, Scotch broth, and french onion soups. All were good. Most of the soup dishes were 8-12 GBP."

"If you are anywhere near Dunvegan, you need to stop at this amazing little shop. Great sandwiches but the pastries are to die for. Even if you’re not hungry, stop in and look at the beautiful creations they’ve made. Such a lovely surprise in an out of the way place!"
