Located above the town with views over the rooftop’s to the sea. The front door says by appointment only , a little odd for a hotel restaurant. What greenhey doesn't like about Hillside:
Hillside is in a good location and is very well furnished and decorated to create a peaceful atmosphere. Our meal was from the £28 three-course menu and was well-presented but for me) not very warm. I had duck and my wife had plaice, and we were actually doubtful that this was plaice- it didn't have the usual markings on the skin and it was thicker than plaice usually is.
