The Anchor Inn - Isle of Wight

Very busy, even if COVID restrictions were present, we waited a short time for a table and were quite close to the Stables area with a live band, so it was very loud and gay, but we were happy with it! interesting menu, but felt...a bit rushed as you said the kitchen closed at 9 o'clock, but the staff could not have been more helpful. I had laughs with garnel, very tasty. the cake and the chips of my friend looked a bit stony, but maybe what they would want after a hard sailing day! Maltese cake with salt caramel ice cream was heavenly! do not come here on a Friday evening to a quiet romantic dinner. it is full of loud, hectic and hyperactiw, but we really enjoyed it.

I and my family came by the 24th mai. by dorset tried our luck at the beekeeper in the beautiful girl on the recipe rachel help us for an hour or so impression. eating should even die for my 4 year old son who is all naughty.

Brilliant pub that managed to push us in the last minute. beautiful courtesy staff, fast service and tasty eating.

We have used this pub on our last visit in the i o w so that we in this trip for a fish and chip super that was beautiful, we like this place as there is a great atmosphere, really good eating, and some great. beer, the staff are really excellent make they feel very welcome when they go. my fellow was a renter for 10 years recently went to rest, she always says it's a nice place as she puts it, a real pub we beat the next day to lunch and had a nice lunch and a good price for her money.

We came here tired and hungry.The fish and chips were delicious.I liked the pub and bar counter.....
