"Absolutely yummy! Best steak I’ve had in Japan to date! Friendly staff and accommodating to wheelchairs! (Lots of room) not sure about washroom though…"

"Incredibly nice, vegan lunch cafe. I tried the daily lunch plate, which was Japanese style with rice, miso soup, vegan karaage and different vegetable sides (with seasonal, local produce). The lady who runs it is very kind, but she doesn't speak English, so it's better if you speak Japanese (the menu is also only in Japanese, but when I told her I can't read kanji, she read it out loud for me). Nice offerings of homemade drinks and the desserts (which are all gluten free) looked delicious too. Also, all the plates and cutlery were beautiful and straws were reusable, made from metal."

"I had the tankan and the Shikuwasha, both of which were incredibly good. The prices are quite decent: 230 for single, 300 for double and 400 for three flavors. Also, now all flavors are clearly marked with allergens, so it is easy to see which are vegan (without milk and eggs). The staff does not really speak English, but they are really nice."

"We called in on spec at around 18.30 the only weird thing was no one else there early evening other diners arrived around one hour later. The food is in small portions so we ordered it tapas style and shared. It was suggested we tried the tofu dumplings which we did so nice we got more."

"A very beautiful place. Beef is very tasty and the taste itself is different from Tokyo or other places in Japan. Must try! Better book in advance because it is quite popular!"
