"Best coffee shop in all of Iwaki! Glad that Hanna speaks English and the menus are all translated. It's a warm and cozy place to hang out. The food is great. Coffee: I recommend the black sesame latte and matcha latte! If you have a sweet tooth like I do: the brownie,cheesecake, and white chocolate cranberry blondies are AMAZING!!"

"This is my favourite restaurant in Iwaki! It's run by one woman and she has one daily lunch set that changes each day as well as a collection of hot and cold drinks and a chiffon cake (rotating tea flavours). Usually the set includes: rice, miso soup, pickles, two seasonal side dishes, a fresh salad, and some sort of fried plant-based protein (usually wheat gluten or soy meat). She offers seconds on the rice if you're still hungry, but it's a fairly filling meal. I recommend making a reservation as she's often full, especially on weekends. This is also one of the most low-impact places I've come across in Japan. She even has washable (individual) hand towels instead of paper towels. Cannot recommend highly enough."
