El Metate - Jackson

I lived my whole life in Jackson and never had such a good Huevos rancheros. Great authentic Spanish breakfast!

Who didn't judge it? Okay, 5 may be steep, but that's how I roll and their rating should be better. Things to consider: the salsa (verde) is remarkably hot and I usually get 4 out of 5 in Thai restaurants. Don't come if you're an eyelash. Parts are huge! The prices seemed steep, but you don't usually get 5 enchiladas plus rice and beans and a random side of the acid cream just because. Besides, they need to rent in Jackson Hole/Teton Village You have no stuff like ground beef red enchiladas (what I am in the mood for) but I was surprisingly excited with my green chickens. In addition, they have received many options for Guaraches, which is always in this cast iron. It looks / smells pleasing. I would have, but my heart was put on cheese and sauce that they have beer: only Corona and Modelo. But a corona 40 and a glass to pour it seems quite popular. the clientele is local and Spanish speaking, but the waiters know enough English to get your monolingual self in and out.

Good food and service. Authentic Mexican. Nothing fancy. Bottled sodas. Several Mexicans eating here. Always a good sign. Red sauce is very hot. Rice was excellent. Large portions.
