one of the best steaks I've ever eaten! eating was amazing of broth, salate, steak and dessert. I had the rib and it was from this world amazing, cooked to perfection. my wife had the laughs and they enjoyed him with the veggies. recommend this place for a good meal with a pleasant, quiet atmosphere! What Scott Frye doesn't like about Flatiron Grille:
We went for brunch. I had the NY Strip and chef's vegetables (green beans). The green beans were almost raw. They needed to be cooked a while longer. My steak was pretty amazing, almost perfect. There were others at the table that had steaks that were extremely salty. I would not have been able to eat them. (I did taste them). The service was very lacking. I asked the next guy working behind the counter the same question, and he replied in kind. I ordered an ox tail dinner with all the sides. Without a doubt, the food served here is as authentic you can without taking a trip to the Caribbean. The food served here will appeal to all of your culinary senses. This is not one of those fancy Michelin five-starrestaurants on your bucket list you dream about being able to visit. However, at the Jamaican African Cuisine restaurant, you will receive the best plate of homecooked food between the Mississippi River and New York City. If you live inJackson, TN, or on the road traveling and looking for something different to break the monotony of the boring national chain restaurants, this is the place. The food is served like when eating at Grandma 's house. The food here is the bestJamaican cooking has to offer. The single serving portions are large enough for 2 dinners to share. The flavor is off the Richter scale, and if you are weight conscience, make a visit here your cheat day. Mr. Jospeh is the chef/owner ofJamaican African Cuisine with his two sons.
