I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was really impressed! The riverside location provides a peaceful setting for outdoor dining. The plum and almond cheese was delicious and still a healthy option. The manager even took the time to sit down with me and share their future plans, which sound very promising. What User doesn't like about Hardee's:
Stopped there on the way to my fish camp with my grandson. We ordered some burgers and fries. He ordered a chocolate milk shake. We got our order. The burgers were thrown together and messy. My grandson's shake wasn't even mixed. Ice cream on the bottom and milk floating on the top.I'll never stop there again. Bad food and bad service. Subway just up the street! View all feedback.
This is one of those special places you want to keep everything to yourself. Imagine when some of your favorite people open a beautiful and welcoming place where you can enjoy a delicious, expertly prepared and responsible food or snack along with a fascinating glass of wine or carefully selected craft beer. Now imagine the place in the magnificent rustic surroundings of Big Sur was next to the Big Sur River. Go there before everyone else finds out.
You will want to eat everything again and again. One of a kind in Big Sur and maybe all of Monterey County. Organic ingredients and the vegan cheese are insanely good, this coming from a person who loves real cheese. I’ll be back.
Love this place!. I have been going once a week for the last month because I can’t get enough of their amazing menu. Great vegan/vegetarian options that’s unlike anywhere in the area. The vegan grilled cheese is by far my favorite dish! Cool wine and beer list as well. The interior design is also so beautiful giving a new twist on the Big Sur style. They also have yoga which is so awesome. You can enjoy a yoga class with great food after and then dip your toes in the fresh river. Highly recommend!

My partner and myself are HUGE fans of Big Sur and spend a lot of time with friends who live in Big Sur full time. We absolutely love The Village and think it's an awesome addition to the community. Being a self proclaimed foodie I am highly impressed by their entire menu both food and drink. I haven't tasted anything that I didn't like but my personal favorites are their elevated matcha drink and their (vegan) grilled cheese and tomato soup. My partner's favorite is the (vegan) cheese plate that is served on their dinner menu. Please note that we are not vegan and don't seek out vegan cuisine. It's just that good. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly and make you feel like your guests in their home. And if delicious, organic cuisine isn't enough to convince you to stop in, the entire space is absolutely stunning. The esthetic is bright, clean, unique and curated incredibly well.
