"The BEST place to eat.. I do not agree with Ms.Cartwright. As for the service that I have recieved is nothing but excellent!! The waitress has always been prompt, and our order has always been corect. As for the food, I dont think you will ever find food as good as this unless you are cooking it at home. The manager and owner are always very friendly. They use the best ingredients and take pride in what they are fixing. So coming from some one who eats there at least 3 times a week, you will not go wrong. Some of the things to try, 1.Catfish 2. BBQ any of it) 3.Prime Rib 4.Fried Chicken These are just to name a few, so happy eating."

"Me and my wife do not usually eat Cajun cuisine. Popeye's does not count. But we were more than surprised with how much we enjoyed our meal. I had the sausage and chicken jambalaya which had some nice heat and my wife had the shrimp Étouffée also with nice spice. She was very impressed. Being Asian, she's never had the flavor profile of Étouffée. She loved it. We also had the bacon cheese fries as appetizer. Note: unless you are bordering on starvation, that's too much for two people. Two full portions and huge cheese fries is a lot of food. Two half portions would be perfect. Also, the price was good. I was expecting it to be more expensive."

"Once your through the door.... Looks can be deceiving... What energy they don't put into the outside goes into the food. <br/>As we're pulling into the parking lot my 3 friends were looking at me... Are you sure? But once we were in and greeted by the very friendly staff we felt like regulars. The food was great! For me the ribs were the best of everything, smoky, not too spicy, not too sweet, not too dry, not too wet. Portions are decent, I ordered a 1/2 rack but it looked like more since they were cut up and stacked. The added side of fried catfish was very tender and the breading tasty. If only they offered an added side of the brisket, oh well, next visit..."

"Visiting Missouri from Texas and never have this issue at home. Came in to eat lunch today and ordered my usual sandwich. I asked for a Large 12 inch turkey and cheddar sandwich on a baguette. The food comes out with only a 6 inch sandwich. I told the waitress but she said I probably didn’t clarify that I wanted a 12 inch. I told her that I did and she went and checked and said I’ll put it in for you but you’ll have to come pay for it. I said I’m not paying for y’all’s mistake and she said okay then and just walked off. Never had this issue at a McAllister’s at home but the one time I visit in Missouri they get it wrong and were rude."
