Great salsa and chips! The house margarita “the rough neck” is stronger than you think as the fresh lime mixer conceals the liquor flavor (recommend! . My son got the cheese quesadilla today, which was very good, but I can vouch the shrimp quesadilla is the best one I’ve had in Jax. I got the fish tacos and they were perfect with plenty of flavor! What tedact doesn't like about El Jefe:
We had not been to this restaurant post Covid. We were disappointed. They were not at all crowded in an eerie kind of way. We were disappointed that the menu had been greatly reduced with many of our favorites gone. The server was good, the food average. We will not return. View all feedback.
