I had one of the best chicken fried steaks cooked just right; very tender topped with onion gravy.
I have been eating here for a few years and always enjoy a comforting home style meal.
Hungry and looking for some good southern style cooking and hospitality look no further.

"I have visited this restaurant more than ten times over the past few years that I've been a resident in the area. Whenever I have a taste for home cooked food, this has been my Go-To. But this may have been my last visit. The food just doesn't taste the same anymore. Maybe new recipes are being used. The seasoning, flavor and taste overall just lacks what it has in the past. My last two visits have been this way. I'm saddened. The customer service is still good. Nice atmosphere as well."

"No frills take out kitchen. I was excited to try the oxtail but they did not have it on the menu. The smothered porkchops were out of this world, literally fall off the bone tender and flavorful. The Mac n cheese was average but good. The baked beans do not seem homemade, possibly canned and just doctored up. The salisbury steak was absolutely awful. Very bland and dry. My husband actually ended up finishing my pork chops because his was so bad. The service was also sub par. She was not friendly but also not rude....just going through the paces, without a smile or any kindness."

"Great barbecue near the downtown area. I recommend this BBQ place. It's authentic. on main street close to town.i had the pulled pork sandwich with iced tea and it was great. i am looking forward to going back there soon."

"The only reason I gave a 4 on service is because we didn't see much of our server. To be fair, she was great they were just extremely busy and I think short staffed."
