Absolutely perfect. I randomly chose this place. The assim from the waiting staff is lovely! Full enthusiasm and love for people and what it serves. The food was fresh, tasteful and presented without anticipation. View all feedback.
The place is very cosy, all the food is tasty, there are a lot of variations of shakshuka and other traditional Israeli meals. The staff is kind and they gave us an extra meal on the house and a desert.
The food was okay, the price was a little bit expensive for what they served. Ask for the a-la-cart menu, because the prices are more fair there then the prices in the business lunch menu, which will be the first one that you will receive. They will add on the check some extra money for the tips. In the picture you can see what business lunch consists of.
The food was pretty good, service was pretty fast, and the atmosphere was pretty cool. It just felt a bit too touristy. Also, the communication about how to order isn't clear. They set all of these delicious looking salads on the table and the customer has to be clear on whether or not they want it. When you're hungry, you dive in. When the bill comes, you pay for it even though you didn't order it. I'd still highly recommend coming here regardless.
Shakshuka made by the doctor himself. If you are in eggs and tomatoes, do not miss this place. Hraima fish is also brilliant but quite sharp
In December 2019. Shakshuka ordered. Had no idea that this was a famous restaurant because I just followed my friend's recommendation. Only found after mentioned in a travel article. I remember the interior of the whole thing and the streets right outside had a public art. I remember the coating and warmth of tomatoes and egg. I can't remember exactly what the pricing was, but I guess it was reasonable, otherwise I would have remembered if it was excessively expensive. I remember that it is very popular and full when I went (on a Thursday night).
