This restaurant is hiding in a gas station, only open for lunch on weekdays, and has some of the best food you'll eat anywhere. For example, on Fridays they do a Fried Catfish plate (pic included. I've ordered it a number of times, and it's the best catfish in central Texas. The hamburgers too are as good as it gets in Central Texas. They don’t have the decency or know how to update their hours online. It shows that they’re open at 10:40am on Google. I walked in and the lady, who wasn’t exactly pleasant by any stretch, told me they close at 10 and reopen at 11. Glad I planned my morning trip from Leander to Dallas around this cafe being open. The current menu may be expanded on site to include seasonal specialties and weekly recommendations. In addition to a variety of menus, the card also offers a variety of beverages and typical house dishes. Additionally, the menu also takes into account dishes and ingredients that have been positively highlighted by customers, even if these have not yet been entered.
