I don’t think I can say anything bad about this place. Honestly the best restaurant in Jasper. I’m not sure how it ended up being listed as pricier than the other places in OpenTable but it’s actually comparable in price but far better value. We ended up going twice in a row after the disappointment of the other places. Three people two days in a row gave us a pretty good view of the menu and we weren’t disappointed. The lamb special was amazing. Portions are a good size larger than other comparable restaurants, wait staff was friendly and very attentive. Would definitely come back here again.
Nice evening, good food, friendly service, great to be able to book via open table.
Great date night! Good food and wine Great place to go for a special evening
Friendly staff, great service, amuse bouche was amazing bit of beef. Appetizer of caramelized onion tart was enjoyable, main of sirloin was an adventurous combo of flavors that while edible, just didnt quite work for us. If olives are your thing and in spades highly recommended. Goat cheesecake was great.
We prebooked our table and were greeted on seated immediately on arrival. There was a 3 course menu $29.95. We had Elk Carpaccio to start (Extra $6 , this was delicious! We were given a complimentary palate cleanser of blackberry and port sorbet, it didnt really taste of much and was full of seeds, which we spent many minutes digging out from our teeth! We had the special for our main, Scallop and lobster delicious! I had the apple pie with cheese for dessert (not to my liking! My husband had the chocolate brownie which he really enjoyed. We finished with a glass of their 50 year port which was lovely. The portion sizes were just right for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and our waiter was excellent.
