Stopped here on our way to the penitentiary tour. This place is fantastic! Beautiful interior, wonderful staff and drinks! Highly recommend.

"I had to try this place out! My cousin and I were talking about going out to eat fried chicken here in Jefferson City. I suggested Nick's be or Steve's, he laughed and said, have you ever tried claysville store fried chicken and ham? I said no. Long story short,I took the family out to Claysville store and it was the greatest experience we have ever had! I fell in love with this food, all of it. From the fried chicken to the ham to the potatoes, green beans, cole slaw biscuits and their apple butter, oh my gosh it's delicious! Their tea and lemonades were amazing. All in all this place is a 10 out of five. Don't let the outside vintage look of the building deter you, come on in and you'll be amazed!"
