"Just wow. What a venue and what a setting. You can really not get any closer to the ocean unless you are in it. I love the casual vibe where you can sit with your feet in the sand and just relax. The service is incredible and our waiter was very knowledgeable and we never had to wait longer than 5 mins for anything we ordered. We opted for the shellfish platter for 2 and we should have invited more friends as the portions were fantastic and all the ingredients fresh. I most like how they serve everything in old tin cups and plates...reminds me a lot of my childhood. In the summer I can only imagine it must be a haven to visit and spend some well deserved down time at. A must visit if you are in the area as a landmark setting in Jay bay."

"A beautiful casual place in the surf town. A variety of alternative milk options and vegan options on the menu. You also have gluten-free bread! And my vegan monkey toast was huge, too big for me to finish."

"We were in town shooting a wedding and it was our first time in St Francis! What a lovely town. The next morning we needed a good breakfast and our hosts told us about Rambling Rose. SHO we were so happy to find such a cool place. Friendly owner, great food and awesome kids area. Will definitely return if we in St Francis again."

"Absolutely highly recommended to ANYONE who really wants to witness value for money! The service from Steve, reception friendliness, and the chef above all, really went out of their way to complete customer satisfaction! What more do you need? Great steaks/food, great drinks/wine, great service, and this all with a sea beach view from any point in the restaurant! Well done guys! You're awesome!"

"Great restaurant with wonderful food and wines! We came here for Christmas since it was one of the few open restaurants and we ended up having a great dinner. The fish is from the Jeffriesbay area and really tasty and prices very honest. I'm case you don't like fish they also have other options to select from like pizza or meat!"
