"Just wow. What a venue and what a setting. You can really not get any closer to the ocean unless you are in it. I love the casual vibe where you can sit with your feet in the sand and just relax. The service is incredible and our waiter was very knowledgeable and we never had to wait longer than 5 mins for anything we ordered. We opted for the shellfish platter for 2 and we should have invited more friends as the portions were fantastic and all the ingredients fresh. I most like how they serve everything in old tin cups and plates...reminds me a lot of my childhood. In the summer I can only imagine it must be a haven to visit and spend some well deserved down time at. A must visit if you are in the area as a landmark setting in Jay bay."

"One of the best places to relax and eat by the beach in Jeffrey's Bay. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly and efficient (managers are a bit rude and snobby so lost a star there). There is a variety of great food, wine, milkshakes and dessert, and the atmosphere is enjoyable with a great view of the beach. The inside is clean and comfortable. The outside smoking area is where pets are allowed, even if your pets don't usually smoke, it's a bit smelly outside and the manager doesn't care about all that, or your dog's diet and lungs."
