Sandy Hut is your quintessential dive bar in Portland. No bar crawl would be complete without stopping here. Before you even step in the building's unique design gives you good vibes. The good vibes continue inside where you'll find a long bar, lots of tables for groups, some arcade games and pool. The food in here is incredible, I LOVE fried pickels and these didn't disappoint. Being at the Sandy Hut reminds me of a time when Portland was a madhouse of artistic overflow. The nerds, the painters, the conceptual artists, the dancers musicians, the photographers filmmakers, the movers and shakers, all colliding shoulder-to-shoulder splashing cheap drinks and jello shots with wild abandon.
