Every day I order a fresh cup of cappucino with soy or almond milk, from my friends at the Fresh Kitchen, to see me through the afternoon at my Olam Qatan book stall at the First Station. I don't know what I'd do without them! View all feedback.

through the shopping center I went on this diner and noticed his vegan options. it gets a bit cold in the winter as the main service is in a pavillon and people leave the sliding door open. Vegan options are clearly marked and there are some for each cursor. We ate here about a week ago. I had a vegan dish (the warm green salad) while my spouse had the salmon skewers. (There is no meat here The menu is somewhat innovative, trying to have healthy food and indicating nutritional information about each menu item. Vegan and vegetarian items are each clearly indicated. My spouse said the salmon skewers (it's called an Asian Salmon Salad) were OK, but not something amazing. My salad was good, also not amazing. Though they claim they use fresh food, the string beans were most likely frozen (the small whole string beans). But I did enjoy it, and almost all restaurants in Jerusalem that have vegetarian food are dairy restaurants that have fish and very few vegan choices, because the veggie choices are cheese and egg laden, both of which I avoid for health reasons. My big gripe with this restaurant was the cleanliness. The waiter, pleasant enough, was wearing a filthy T-shirt inside out (so I could imagine what the outside looked like) and I even asked him, being so nauseated by it, don't you have a cleaner shirt to which he replied not really I suggested he get one. The rest room area was also rather gross looking, and considering that this place is not even open all that long (a year or so reflects poor maintenance and cleanliness. I don't know that I'd want to see what the kitchen looks like. So, I might go back, but would not rave about this place, and hope that they make note of this review and clean up! It's really not hard to get clean polo shirts for your staff.

That was the worst restaurant I've ever been. Rude Service when I arrived, they should've put me out, but I continued like hunger. I ordered two main dishes without garlic, as I am allergic, and a dessert. The net came stinking on garlic after a mouthful I realized that she definitely incense garlic, so I couldn't eat her, my husband said that they were totally tasteless anyway) so that he returned to complain. The staff had a blowing argument with him saying that the sauce had no garlic, but when he questioned them, they said they had bought in the sauce, could not show him the ingredients. They finally agreed to remake only a court. When he came home, we found two public hairs that were obviously put on purpose. The dessert was also much too sweet to eat, even if you were a dirty foul place like that it would not be worth the money for the quality of food. I wrote very rarely reviews, but didn't want anyone else to risk going there.
Theoretically, Fresh has all the ingredients that make for a perfect blend of a Kosher Vegetarian restaurant. The menu is a mix of classic Kosher Dairy offers and healthy vegan options. Fresh is also a concept restaurant, the ambience lets you feel fresh, the menus give you the protein/calorie/etc of all different offers and even tells you what parts of the body of each shake. It has a great mood and feels healthy to eat there (with the exception of dirty glasses that I 've got too many times here . The problem is most of the menu doesn't taste or comes as good as it sounds. One example is the swarm that is bland, with an underaverage texture. If they wanted to improve it, why not offer in a Laffa? Why not real Israeli salads with him like the ones you would get in a meat swarm? Instead in an uninspired fashion, they throw some vege swarm flavored art meat on a plate with a few pimples and a small salad. The Shakshuka is bland and underwhelming. The Bangkok heat was abused (should have been Bangkok Bland since it had almost no spices or taste at all. I asked the waitress on a lemon that got a little curry taste out of him. Some of the salads are pretty good. None of my friends who ordered fish there was also overwhelmed. The best I had at fresh is the Asian tofu salad, which is really good fusion, has a fine but great taste and is a filling part of tofu, noodles and goodness. Overall, I like Fresh because its a beautiful place in the old railway station, with good service that has a menu with SOMETHING for EVERYONE. The ingredients they use are fresh ingredients. Your menu is imaginative. Unfortunately, their execution is not up to sniffing and the lack of taste can be disappointing, but its still one of the better places for a veg meal in Jerusalem.
