"Update: After COVID-19 pandemic the place changed, but it is still a jewel of JLM. For now served sandwiches (common with cashew cheese — tasty, fava (so light and tasty!), pastries, alcohol and soft drinks (got two cups of mocha cause it sooo goood! . Almost everything is vegan. Friendly service and good mood. We had breakfast here on Saturday morning. The city was dead (no locals, no tourist and Bastet was just great. If you are in JLM, please visit and support You this place! I love this place. Extremely friendly service, atmosphere of freedom, decent food. It is not so easy to find a place in Jerusalem where you can feel so comfortable. The hotel is located in the city centre and opens every day. It is vegetarian, but you can veganize most dishes. "Crave Gourmet Street Food is a fashionable restaurant on the Mehane Yehuda market where they serve classic international street food dishes with a fun and creative touch and with ingredients coming directly from the market. Very hipster, but good. In what is the menu, think of things like tacos, burgers, reuben sandwiches and Asian street food dishes. We ask for its famous ‘fried grapes’, which are handmade fries and served with a truffle and sriracha mayonnaise. Absolutely addictive. We also asked for the 'Adobo Brisket Bowl', which was probably the best dish I tried for 5 days in Jerusalem. It is a Korean-inspired dish with demolished smoked beef, a chilled egg, vegetables and homemade chops, on a rice bed with kimchi and beicon. It was brutal. Seriously, if you're visiting the Mehane Yehuda market, keep time to go to Crave and try this dish. It's a 10. The prices are a little higher than the average (about 10 euros per dish), but nothing out of the ordinary and when considered the quality of the food, is frankly cheap. Oh, and a pretty good selection of Israeli tap craft beer! In short, if you want to test the latest gastronomic trends in Jerusalem, Crave is your site."

"We had found this restaurant on Google a few days before, but quickly dismissed it because it was out of our budget. However, a few days later we were starving in the old city and promised each other to stop and eat at the 1st restaurant we came across, whicg happened to be Amigo Emil. The stuffed chicken chicken stuffed with cheese, served with mashed potatoes and veggies) was INCREDIBLE. It was 60 shekels $17), but I was so satisfied with my meal. Plus, it was nice and cool in the restaurant and there were outlets! Nice staff too."
