What Arthur L likes about Shabes Bistro:
We were there for shabbat takeaway on a Thursday afternoon. They have 5 kinds of cholent. I had the lamb cholent, which is fantastic. They have excellent potato and Yerushalmi kugel, and Yapchik, a potato kugel with meat in the middle. Also Galeh and many kinds of salads. Take away is tasty, but overpriced. Poor hygiene: owing to the take away layout, some costumers behave like at a buffet, tasting bits with their fingers or even using the spoons. Revolting. View all feedback.
The place is kept clean and tidy. The service is very good. The women behind the counter is super friendly and a joy to see weekly.
I love this place! Feels like home, and the workers are so helpful and kind. Perfect for traveling Americans for Shabbos or Yom Tov.
