"The apartment is clean and well equipped and in a superb, quiet location with adjacent forest and abundant wildlife, especially birds including nuthatch, woodpeckers, flycatchers and many varieties of raptor although we also saw red squirrels, wild boar, deer and possibly the largest hare...in the world! There is offroad parking. The vast expanse of heather covered moorland of the Nordheide is easily accessible. It is only about a quarter of an hour's drive to Buchholz with its many supermarkets, shops and restaurants, although there are some very good country restaurants nearby. Annegret is a perfect hostess, attentive and accommodating without being in the least intrusive. We had friends visit from Hamburg and she was more than happy to make up two extra beds so they could have a drink and stay the night no charge. Her large garden is a marvel and designed as a managed wilderness to be a haven for native plants and wildlife, including insects. Such a wild space takes a lot of work and dedication, so Annegret spends quite a few hours every day maintaining it do ask her to show you around, it's fabulous! All in all one of the very best, and least expensive apartments in which we have stayed I cannot recommend it highly enough"

"One of the few places that offer vegan options in this opposite. instead of eating, I would come back because of the great atmosphere and the garden. the personal was very friendly and double checked everything to make sure it is vegan. instead of using cocoa powder, it uses vegan dark chocolate for the icy hot chocolate. they have various vegan options, including two types of cake, drinks (soy/sweet milk,) sandwiches, gnocchi, suppe and more. eating was delicious, but nothing too special and a little expensive. but the parts were large and the service super. they also have animals like rabbits, guinea pigs and sheep, and near is a way for a walk."

"There is also plenty of space on the terrace, so under Corona conditions there is no problem. The service is very, very nice and accommodating. We're here more often and the food was always good. "We have been visiting this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. there is a small card with antipasti, pizza and pasta classics. the actual card is adjusted annually and changes monthly. now at the beginning of september there were some beautiful mushroom dishes and there were also processed summer fruits.In particular, the meat dishes are recommended, only good quality and perfectly fried by chef daniele. owner bruno takes care of the service, advises expertly, also likes to explain the less well-known Italian ingredients and has always a good wein recommendation parat. In midday there is a weekly changing card that generates a smile of satisfaction for quite small money. in the evening the menu is about € 30,- recommended. three well-tuned walks that no one overwrite what a la carte might be the case.Brunos Italian aperitifs at the beginning of the menu are just as worth tasting as the delicious desserts."

"Nice article in local time, recommended by local people so we try it a Spanish tapas is always welcome. the atmosphere is very attractive. the tapas were already not very good, the data burned with speck, everything was with one not identified. thick sauce covered. Unfortunately, this sauce came back to the main courts. the rabbit was dry and swim in this sauce. the steak was only prefect, but the mushroom sauce was salted, as you cannot eat. the fish was also salted on one side and without any ingredients on the other side. at the end we tried the ice – we should not do it – no taste, as it was the cheapest from the super market. Maybe we had bad luck, but none of the failed ones was like us. with all this we found it much too expensive for this quality. we will not try again – that is safe."
