What User doesn't like about La Estacion:
surely one of the most original restaurants where you can eat in the mountain range. is located at the St.Paul station, in the village of jimena of the border. the station is still in use and in one of the specialties of the house are the fungi. Recommended? the croquettes. Some of the spinach, some of the ham, some of the pig, a surprise until you squeezed the tooth! View all feedback.

"I first entered the doors of this fabulous device more than 28 years ago, and have returned at numerous places and thanks to the internet I can now share my love with them for this special place. the legacy of a man with incredible vision was maintained by the loving care of christina and gabriel, their families and the rest of the rod. they are not tired of the layout of this rustic restaurant and hostel, from its tropical permaculture gardens to its roof terraces, pool and bar. clean comfortable and inexpensive rooms and apartments. during the individual character and the contents of the building their vision is awakened and their heart will stir the restaurant will treat their taste buds in any case to an empathy that they experience unlikely everywhere in southern Spain, the combination of its delicious homemade and lovingly prepared and delivered food card, and the late night star from the dachpool make this wonderfully friendly place to a million star establishment."

"We liked a lot! Very attentive staff. In comments we had read that you had to go slowly but we did not have that feeling. Obviously you have to wait the time it takes to cook the meat but it didn't take us long. Or could it be that the salad helped us with the wait which, by the way, is very good. We ordered 3 half portions (a real success to try various meats: secret, empty beef and roast strip. We had never tried the last two and we loved them, especially the empty one. I would definitely go back"
