"This is a beautiful hotel (it was one of Cortes haciendas a long time ago-when the Spaniards conquered Mexico). It has been transformed into a lovely hotel with blooming gardens. It has a magnificent restaurant which was part of the hacienda and when it was abandond trees grew inside it, so there are 2 or 3 trees that grew on the the walls and they have respected them and have let them grow inside. It is a beautiful setting as the roof is green with leaves from these very old amate trees. You can even see the roots of these trees growing inside the building (restaurant). On Sundays they have a big mexican style buffet, fruit, cereals, pozole, quesadillas made there, eggs also done as you please, they have paella, nice coffee, hot chocolate, lots of fresh fruit juices. There is pleanty to eat. After having your food do go outside and visit the numerous gardens, the old "aguardiente" (rum) building which is still standing with its chimneys. Stroll around and enjoy, it is a very peaceful place."
