What User likes about Bertrand:
beautiful and cozy restaurant. the interieur is amazing with wallpapers from old book pages and a large cabinet filled with antiques. it is the only restaurant that we could find that vegan options are marked on their menu on maboneng. we had the curry and bouruignon with potato maid. it was very delicious and filled. even though the curry could be a bit nicer with some poppadums or chutney on the side. the staff, if... although they are clear some dishes on the menu as vegan, most of them are not vegan. we had the soup soup that had much looked in it, the butternut and the bonsalat, the feta cheese, the mushroom paste that had a heavy cream sauce and cheese, and the mushroom stew with heavy and creamy kartoffels (which marked them clearly as non-dairy) I have been vegan for almost 10 years and I can feel the difference. because the...
