"As a first time guest, I had no idea what a treat I was in for. The halibut was absolutely divine! The rice and beurre blanc sauce blew my tastebuds out of this world! Be prepared to enjoy layers of flavor in every bite. The spinach melts in your mouth. The host/owner and wait staff were attentive and polite. The only negative was the mosquitoes on the patio, but the atmosphere was worth the nuisance and as soon as I mentioned them, the server brought out non aromatic repellant. We will return again and again."

"After much searching, I found this review site of Jasmine Porch stated as permanently closed. It absolutely is not closed and has reopened since Covid closure (I'm assuming). Additionally, many of the photos of the interior and menu are years old and outdated. The restaurant has been renovated since many of the interior photos posted, and the menu items and prices have changed. Casual beach/pool side dining at its best. This morning I thoroughly enjoyed the Jasmine Porch Breakfast Bowl, $18. It was everything, and more, that was stated on the menu. Colorful fresh blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, toasted coconut, peeled sliced oranges, lychee, pineapple, and kiwi topped the Greek vanilla bean yogurt. Sprinkled all over was the house made granola. What a way to start the day! Delicious! Hubs enjoyed their breakfast buffet, $40, and the sausage gravy looked especially yummy as it was packed full of sausage. The service was friendly and efficient!"

"A star = see wonder and eat here catches them on the island! it is at the end so that they can drive the entire island and see the beautiful houses. that's worth it. they can sit on the swing chairs and watch the ozean and golfer. zero stars= service and eat. a terrible service. the personal could take care of less. we sat for 15 minutes and nobody ever came. we had to go up to the hostess station and let them know. the lady who waited for us pretended to harass them. we ordered dessert that was over $20 for two people. irre prices for dessert during the midday hours. we did not even order lunch after the previous reviews."

"Giving a 2 star simply because we didn?t even get to order food to be able to rate the food. We got seated at 6:30 and the place was pretty empty. One table was finishing up the tab empty. My wife and I chose be seated outside on such a nice night. The hostess give us our menu and we waited for about 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. No one ever came to get it. After about 15 minutes 2 gentlemen came in they got seated. We watched them get the menus and even get there drinks and the waitress took there orders. We still hadn?t been waited on for drinks yet. Now I understand the staffing problems going on at this time but when we are the only ones in the restaurant this is not the issue. I stood up told them thank you but since we can?t be waited on enjoy your night and we proceeded to leave to which the waitress replied sorry I?m the only one working we are short staffed to which I would understand if it was busy but unfortunately it was not busy. Date of service was on 11-17-21"

"DO NOT recommend, unless you only go for appetizers and drinks (the hush puppies were awesome). Overall WAY too expensive for what you get. I ordered a side salad for an additional $4.75. When it came out, it was a plate of old lettuce with 3 DUSTY old carrots, 2 little slices of red onion, and 2 tiny grape tomatoes. I politely asked the waitress if I could return it and just get double green beans, which was the Vegetable of the Day, as every other side except French frieswere all out I ordered the Parmesan-encrusted Grouper. The fish was very good, apart from the puddle of melted butter on the plate, over-saturating my fish. The green beans were cold and disgusting. Absolutely no flavor and tasted likethey came straight out of a can (everyone else who got green beans at the table hated them). When I told the waitress the green beans were cold, she irritably said ?all I can do is replace it.? When I told her that was fine (since the onlyother side that wasn?t out of stock was fries), she said she would give me a discount for the green beans. If she had simply said she was sorry to hear that, I would not have been upset. But she had an unnecessary attitude. She must nothave cared since we were a party of 7 and gratuity was automatically added. She only took $2.00 off my meal and my fiancé?s meal from a $100 check. Lastly, we were not told there would be a surcharge to use a credit card as payment untilafter we paid."
