What Tim S doesn't like about Kabuki Japanese Steak House:
Refused to properly honor a 15% off coupon then charged 20% for a tip including sales tax for a group of 8. So, Kabuki you fleeced me an extra $13 for this visit and cost yourselves hundreds of dollars in future revenue because we used to be fairly regular customers. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on, View all feedback.
The Lobster Fantasy Roll is my absolute favorite sushi roll here so far. I also tried the Chicken Katsu Lunch Box and it was amazing!! You get a lot of food for a great price and every component of the meal was delicious!! I also got the strawberry Ramune Drink and it was good too!
My chicken maki fell through the bottom of the box it was in it was a mess. The spicy Santa rolls were for two separate people and packed together. Food quality was good as always and tasted good.
Everything was amazing! I had the Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Tempura Roll, California Roll, and House Green Salad
Typical Hibachi place. We opted to sit in the dining section to avoid a long wait time, but our waitress seemed overwhelmed for the few tables she had in our area, refills on drinks were longer than expected. The food and sushi were good.
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, maybe the hibachi is better... but anyways, I got a simple tuna and avocado roll which was good, no complaints there. I also got tofu teriyaki. The dish came out literally about 1 minute after I ordered it, which some people might say that's a good thing, but to me it looked like they completely rushed cooking it. I know what tofu should taste like, and the texture of this tofu was just so watery and slimy. You're supposed to let the water drain out of the tofu prior to cooking it and that takes time. It tasted like they just took it right out of the package, threw it on the stir fry, and slathered it in teriyaki sauce. I mentioned it to the waitress that it was not to my liking and that I wanted it a bit more crispy, and the manager came over and told me next time to order it with sauce on the side. They could have simply fixed it and I would have been satisfied. Disappointed mostly by the lack of care and their service.
