The nasi lemak was outstanding. The chef owner had done something special with the rice. It wasn’t only the fragrance of the coconut in the rice but there were other subtle layers of taste made with several other spices that made the rice so delicious but without being over powering nor overly complex. Just the right balance. I was reminded of an excellent saffron rice I had in Azerbaijan years ago. Another must try... View all feedback.

The nasi lemak was really fantastic and mouth-watering! The coconut rice was fragrant and the kueh kueh was fresh! The chicken rendang was not spicy and was sweet, which was perfect for people like me who don't really take spicy! Want to give Elvin Gan, the host, a thumbs up! Even though there was a shortage of staff, Elvin still pulled a chair over to my family and my fiancee at the table on and off, and chatted with us! Appreciate this really kind gesture, and would definitely recommend yummy nasi lemak to anyone!
I am not usually a Nasi Lemak lover but I've gotta say.. This has got to be the best Nasi Lemak I have ever tasted!! The food here is superb with every ingredient being of quality. The Nyonya kueh and otah are super delicious too! Definitely going to return for more. On top of that, the ambience is great, spacious location. Staff are very friendly and fast! All must try :
Visited Yummy Nasi Lemak over the past weekend with some friends. It's conveniently located just about 10 minutes drive away from JB CIQ. Other than it's main highlight, the nasi lemak, the restaurant also sells an assortment of nonya kuehs. Loved the fried chicken nasi lemak tender chicken fried to a crisp yet not a single bit greasy, paired with fragrant steamed coconut rice. The otah otah is another must try item on their menu (heard they get their ingredients from Muar). Definitely going back another time to try the other kuehs that I have missed and their dry styled mee siam!
Very delicious and yummy nasi lemak, mesiam and Malay kuih. Highly recommend to friends who love Malay style food. Will definitely come back again with other family members.
