"Joplin Ave Coffee Company has a great ambience, welcoming their guests as they enter. The employees are very respectful and warm towards the patrons. Great place to kick back with you preference of coffee or smoothie beverages, while you check your emails or scroll through social media. Not to mention their variety of bagels, croissants, scones, stroop waffles, muffins, paninis, breakfast burritos even fresh fruit. They’ve got it all. And they are the best in town!!! Thanks JACC"

"My self and the husband were driving interstate from Illinois for about 6 hours , when we decided to take a pit-stop in Joplin. We were looking at food options for dinner. We had the usual McDs and Arbys for breakfast and lunch and so wanted a good and hearty meal for dinner. It was a Sunday and so a lot of places seemed to be closed or had closed early. We then came across this restaurant and the google reviews convinced us to try this place out. It's a tiny joint with limited seating (and parking) but very cozy. As we entered the restaurant, the lady at the counter greeted us and asked us to be seated. She gave us the menu to decide and once we were ready we could go to the counter and place the order. We decided to take Thai wings , Tom kha soup and Thai Time Curry with Duck meat. Believe me when I say the food was fabulous. After our long journey , the soup felt like a balm to our throat and belly. Everything was fantastic and may I say , this was one of the best Thai food we have had. There wasn't a lot of staff , so the lady at the counter was also the one to bring us our food. She was kind and courteous and asked us if we needed anything else. All in all , a very comforting experience. This place is a must try !"

"This place is a classic and in 20 plus years, I have never had a bad meal. Their chili, in my opinion, never waivers and is consistently good. You can 't go wrong with their 'Wimpy ' burger either. Nothing fancy, just fundamentally great food. Head 's up, bring cash because it 's the only form of payment."

"Pub food found in the same building as an independent cinema with a full plant based menu not what I expected to find in a somewhat small town. If, like me, you find yourself driving through Joplin, stop on by! The fries are clearly handmade in house thick cut and with the potato skin still on! I had a vegan raspberry vanilla Italian soda which was cute and delicious(ask which vegan milk if you have a nut allergy, sign said oat but employee told me they only had almond milk). I had the tempeh blt which was only okay for me, but they had many other options I could choose from. Last, but not least, they had vegan apple pie and vegan cherry pie. You will not be disappointed!"
