basic decor,friendly staff who speak in a concise manner. You can tell the owner has love for the place by his expression when it filled up, and how clean everything is. Food is decent,subtle flavors which could be percieved as mild. Gyoza was delicious, nice sauce. Food is just good price-quality, the service what can you expect from a typical family restaurant runned by one person, again just good. Atmosphere, you forget you are in the middle of Amsterdam which is good after all the crowd and english people walking around. I do not recommend. Really terrible service. The older man doesn't even take the order, he just asks the guests to write down menu items on a piece of paper.
