Julian Cafe

The parts were huge. I had the Cobb sandwich and Brad had the chicken Fried Steak with garlic potatoes. My came with a huge bunch of crispy pommes and the Mayo on the side I appreciated. Many turkeys and bacon with blue cheese crumbs and tomatoes. I couldn't finish everything! The chicken steak was out and very tender. Brad said it was the best he ever had next to me! the apple cake with crumbling top and ice was big enough to share. The filling was like caramel with apples, but not done under. We will definitely try again!

Love love loves this place. Our food was great that I loved the land potatoes and my neice ordered the cinnamon roll French toast for which to die. Eating came fast and our server Matt was great. The best place in the city I was.

This is a wonderful place in a picturesque beautiful city where you can come and have a delicious slice of apple cake alamode. It not only nourishes the stomach, it nourishes the soul, because the menu and the table sets are filled with bible verses and sayings of Christian wisdom. You can't find it any more and I love it! The menu also gives the full history of the building and anyone who ever owned it. When my wife and I left, we felt like the building had come to life and greeted us as old friends. We are going through our next trip!

Julian Cafe is our popular place to go in Julian, the service is great and the food portions are great. Sometimes it's a bit waiting, but it's worth it. It is a bit cozy in the café and well decorated, they try very hard to sit people as fast as possible and tables that fit your party.

Be ready to waddle out of there! The portions are huge and you can’t stop eating because it tastes so good!.One meal is enough for two! Delicious comfort food. And ending the meal with a piece of pie is “gilding the lily”, but has to be done.
