I fell in love with the house-made Carolina Reaper BBQ sauce and put it on everything. The ribs and brisket were perfectly cooked and seasoned. A good BBQ should never taste overly smoky, and these meats were cooked just right so that the flavor passed through without being overwhelming. First of all, the staff seemed unhappy and unapproachable. I ordered the meatloaf, coleslaw, and cornbread waffle. The meatloaf was dry and tough, tasting like it had been reheated multiple times. The coleslaw had too much dressing and lacked freshness. On the other hand, the cornbread waffle was actually tasty with butter and honey.
