"This was one of our favorite meals in Alaska! The variety fish and chips with dirty fries was so good I cannot stop thinking about it. We went back later in the day for the halibut fish and chips round 2 because they were so damn good. This spot is a must when in Juneau. They have a bar in the back with amazing beer as well. The whole area is super cozy and chill outdoor seating. The service was all friendly and helpful!"

"On Tuesday May 9th afternoon, I was thirsty and my brother gladly stopped by this MCD. Outside exterior looks nice but we waited in the drive thru window for 10 min waiting for someone to take our order while other people got their orders taken at 2nd drive thru speaker right away. Strange isn't. We got tired of waiting and drive straight to cashier window. She took our soda order and apologized. The cold soda was refreshing. 2 stars for waiting 10 min to get order taken."

"Juneau Alaska does not provide a lot of breakfast options——downtown there are two options… and both are great—albeit different from one another. I love The Rookery, located at 111 Seward Street, right up from Juneau Drug.This breakfast space, open 7-2’ish…is co-owned by two amazing Chef’s; Beau and Travis…(who also own In Bocca Al Lupo)…and are, in large part, responsible for putting the Juneau food scene on the map.The Rookery has food fare, from simple to elegant..all at a fair and reasonable price. They offer beer, wine, mimosas and an espresso bar for coffee beverages.The vibe is chill and local…and the staff is great. Say Aloha to the fantabulous Nichole…you will immediately know her from her effervescent smile and contagious energy.Awesome pastries, great breakfasts…but my favorite ‘go-to’, is the Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito…and I am NOT a vegetarian!You only need one great breakfast option; and The Rookery is it!"

"I had to throw every morning in the sandpiper cafe in juniau. after talking to the waiter, I had replaced the potatoes with a cup of fresh fruit, as the potatoes are roasted with all the others on the rust. I didn't have their pecan vegan French toast because, while it's vegan, it is cooked on the grid with all the others! this caffe is very popular to breakfast, so I recommend you to come there before 9 o'clock and/or make reservations. especially on the day of the father!"

"Oh my god, yes! my man works in the summer in juniau and I came to visit him, and he told me we had to get something from here. because of the dry and rainy day we decided to stay in the island and order pizza for the exit from the island pub. it didn't take long to pick up the blue boar and I wasn't disappointed! Apart from being super fast finished, it was still so hot and fresh when my man returned to home minutes after the way to the restaurant. the combination of toppings was absolutely perfect and the crust was cooked to perfection!"
