"We have been lucky to live in this area for a few years now and in our opinion this restaurant serves the best food for miles around it is always imaginative, beautifully presented and often surprising in unusual but delicious taste combinations and little...details even the coffee came with two delicious surprises: cranberry and dark chocolate lollipops, together with wafer thin biscuits about the size of a CD, studdied with flecks of beetroot. To be fair we have only eaten here for lunches, currently 18 euros for three courses (which are changed regularly) but hopefully a special occasion will arise to justify a more expensive evening meal! There is an extensive wine list, a tad expensive as the lowest prices start at around 22/24 euros a bottle. If you are in the more touristy areas nearby such as Domfront or Bagnoles (which have plenty of perfectly good eateries) why not have a little drive out to this unassuming French village and give your taste buds a treat! As the little red book suggests good food at moderate prices, worth a detour..."
