"Before or after a day of diving in Malapascua you have to eat here! Bread is home made and the portioning are large! The taste of the food really hits the spot! Loved their Breakfast and Baked Macaroni!"

"First time I stopped her was because of the “fresh brewed coffee” sign. It was string just how I like it. We came back to eat and ordered the B.E.L.T, hippo hamburger with bacon, curry cutter chicken, green curry. It was all delicious but...be warned the curry is supper spicy. I love spicy food but this was actually too spicy."

"Ampil's Refreshment In the small town of ZNAC a student cumpus is the starting point for many students. We offer a wide range of cake, lunch, shake and other drinks, as well as coffee. My recommendation: VISIT ABSOLUTELY. Bon appetite."

"Went there for breakfast, and it is the worst we had so far on our year around Asia. Zero smile, zero taste, and pricey.270Php for a fake industrial mango drink (impossible to call it a juice), half a mini mango that fizzed on the tongue, two cold(is the kitchen that far?) eggs and disgusting filipino sausage (so far the one we had were pretty good). The whole with a nonsense service in a country where a large majority of people always try to be nice and helpful. When discussed with a local who said he knew the place, it looks like the Chinese tourist oriented -so called "legend" resort- might be the reason for so poor service as the staff is poorly treated. Walk away"

"The owner and carefaker of the place was very accomodating and hospitable. We arrived at Malapascua Island about 10pm. Other guesthouses were fully booked and so is BB's. The good thing is that the owner let us stay in their on private house to stay...for the night and the next morning as the other guests checked out we transfer to other room. They did not charge us for staying on their own house instead they only charged us for one night, the night that we stayed in one of their guesthouse. Price are very affordable. The place is clean and is near the Ging-ging's restaurant."

"For this price class they have a good location with only 200 meters to the next beach. the rooms had private toilet, cold water shower and a ventilator. I think that's a family business that's getting big. the personal was really friendly and nice. all together nice place to stay on a budget!"

"Our breakfast was decent as we were in dano, we had a free breakfast here every morning. it was enough and good, but nothing great. continental breakfast consisted of iron, toast, butter jelly, coffee (instant but tasty) and sink or speck. our Filipino breakfast consisted of...eggs, rice and corned beef (or a selection of sausange tocino llonganisa) from any reason they always interpreted to be ommelette. I understand, this is common, and many people here call a simple ommelette dish keep this in mind when they order. so if they order a touch, they expect that they have an ommelette (I don't know what they call a touch! he we don't have lunch or dinner here, simply because it seemed less attractive than other restaurants nearby. it closes too early for dinner (8:30 o'clock)! the shakes are in order, we had mango shakes delivered in our room. o yes, the restaurant has many cocospalms and sand around them. the sea is just a few meters away. the ambiente is too basic with a small decoration (with local objects), this restaurant could look and feel much better. more information about malapascua and other choices of restaurants and resorts can be found here on my travelblog http expattraveller.blogspot.com/"

"We were in Malapascua for 7 days and we tried almost all the notable restaurants on the island. Unfortunately on our very first night we somehow ended up here is this place ... (why god why I will simply repeat what someone else wrote because...it sums up my review very precisely as well ... There's plenty of restaurant options in Malapascua, GO somewhere else ... GO!"
