we had a fantastic stay in left bank. large, clean rooms, very comfortable beds with crispy bed linen and we were very well looked after by the amazing owners and their staff. nothing was too much annoyed. the hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the twin coast trail, so it's easy to drive both away downhill. the hotel organized our bicycle shuttle, had a safe bike compartment and a well equipped laundry. we w... we had here today the afternoon, the custard in my disc had split and when pointed to the cook, no apology or compensation was offered in the did not answer. the rest of the food was also quite averaged, sose over reduced so much, so it was like a thick paste over a pork bell that was more like a pork chop texture because not cook long enough. The place to go in Northland at the central point of the Twin Coast Cycle Trail. Great rooms, service, food and wonderful staff.
Delicious brunch/lunch today Eggs Benedict on Kumara and Pumpkin Hash Brown with bacon followed by scrumptious Lemon Cake ! Beautifully restored building and very pleasant accommodating staff -thank you for making us so welcome,see you again!
