Fortunately our experience differed from the negative reviews, the chips were crisp and well salted, not floury or soggy, the grilled snapper and crumbed snapper were both juicy and delicious. Only complaint, not the best value for money as the grilled fish portion was quite small and serve of chips wasn't very generous for an F&C shop. Would give 3.5 stars : View all feedback.

"We came by for dinner on our last night in Kalbarri. The restaurant is hidden in the back, away from the main town area. There are road signs to it so it isn't too hard to find. We didn't book and were able to get a table, although it was outside and it did look like it was about to start spitting (but never did). The dining area is quite interesting in that it is mostly outdoor with areas which are covered. There are also a few seats inside by the brewery area. The decor was very interesting, mostly old items being displayed. There was also a fire pit roaring away which was good for toasting marshmallows (one of their desserts). The menu had quite a few seafood and non-seafood options. The large blackboard also had specials, both food and drinks. You order at the counter and they bring out the food when it's ready. the fish was so fresh and tasty. I had the pan-fried fish and chips and it was cooked perfectly. I also tried one of the tacos and that was fresh and delicious. They also had a large selection of local beers which was interesting. It is a nice place for drinks and food since there are quite a bit of options and they are all quite nice."

"Great location near everything. Good facilities in the spa room with washing machine/washing machine, dishwasher, hob, microwave, refrigerator with full size, balcony with barbecue and dining area. No sea view, but very fair price for what you get. Pool, ice, nibble on site."
