Overall it was a good experience. Our server Janet was pleasant and attentive. The food was good (I had gumbo, my guest had brisket). I did not like being seated next to the restroom, however, especially since the restaurant wasn't very busy. View all feedback.
What Curlieecua doesn't like about Gus's Bbq:
To start off, original server which I don't remember her name, (blond girl with hair slit back in put up in a bun), was pretty rude to switch us off right away with another server. Seemed like she was bothered cuz we weren't ready with our order. When we got Alex, he was really nice but failed to come around more often and ask us if we needed/wanted anything. Purely mid. Execution of the concept got lost in the food.
Very efficient great service food was great! I would highly recommend this place to friends and family....
Food was dry (brisket, spare ribs) food was room temperature not hot, Mac and cheese noodles were hard. Andres our server was polite and attentive
Food was very good.The restaurant is noisy and on top of that they play their music very loud.Need to have at least one room that is quieter. Unfortunately just too loud for me.I will not be returning
Good is always great! Also, Always excellent hospitality by all staff and management! They really do a great job keeping people engaged especially when it's real busy !
