Best donburi I had. A whole bunch of Sumo also showed how she traveled to the camp in the inner Hokkaido. Great location for breakfast :D

"It seemed all vegan places in Hakodate were closed because of the holiday. We can across Taom and although it was closed too, but the chef was so kind and nice and said she will cook for us! The food was so delicious, unique and healthy. There were also cakes and hot beverages. We had such a good time, we want to come and eat again! Thank you!"

"During my four day stay in Hakodate I went to Rumikos Bar four times. There is no sign at the building you just have to go through the sliding door : Shes prepares everything with care and get‘s their veggies from a local farmer. Their is a lunch set and a dinner set with changing ingredients, depending on season and availability. You can also order vegan sushi, but you have to do it one day in advance. I tried lunch, dinner and the sushi, everything was delicious. If you drink alcohol you can also try organic sake or local beer."

"Chapeau to the chef matsunaga and mihoko. we had a fantastic culinary evening with top quality seasonal ingredients from hokkaido. magic in the fine hand of chef matsunaga. highligh was french lobster, foie gras with kumquat orange, and of course the main course we had various from venison, beef wagyu and kinki fish. but also amazing touch of abalone! fantastico! vast wine list, amazing selection of white and red burgundy. the whole dining experience started very fast reply on email by mihoko, as well as during the dinner mihoko took care of us personally. this is amazing. warm and sophisticated hospitality. highly recomended."
