What Nolan Jerde doesn't like about Halani:
Oh, my God! This place is marketed as the best, but far missed the brand! the decor is on trend luxe, the service is nothing special, but the price point indicates that we should be in the ice cream. not like that! Currently it is a “try hard” venue that lacks the culinary brand. View all feedback.
Food is great. Ambience is nice. Takes a long time for food to be served both of the times we dined there.
Be sure to save room for dessert! Lovely ambiance and great service.
Food was just okay… nothing special and I could make a better burger at home. Service was great. It’s pretty there … but we got sat next to a few parties with screaming babies so kind of killed the romantic vibe. Would rather go to Canoe house.

Halani was a highlight of our trip this year. We've eaten there before and enjoyed the food as well as the ambience. This year we celebrated my wife's birthday and our server was so nice and remarked several times wishing my wife happy birthday. The food was outstanding, service excellent and the location and setting was wonderful. Highly recommend this venue to others visiting the island of Hawaii.
