What Liana Badalyan likes about Manta:
A lovely al fresco meal with a great view, protected from the winds, super comfy setting with pretty delicious dish options and a very knowledgeable staff. Of the small dish options we tried the hamachi crudo, uni pasta, oxtail pappardelle, brussel sprouts, and the kona abalone. What Tamster roni doesn't like about Manta:
Nice ambience. My heart of palm, beet goat cheese salad were tasty but his uni tagliatelle appetizer was “oh-no”, and he would not recommend it. He also wasn’t fond of his fresh catch of the day, prepared in a fish bone broth that wasn’t worth the hype, while my kombachi fish entree, prepared in a kind of fricasee style with Meyer lemons, capers and chopped tomatoes, was a winner. Everything was delicious and the staff were wonderful. The restaurant and the atmosphere were lovely and breathtaking.
Great view, great food. Bit pricy but all in all worth dining. Service was great very attentive.
