"The food was decent but was overpriced and the portion sizes were much smaller than expected. For a small burger, two tacos, fries, and pineapple shake, the total came to about $50! They also ask you to pay extra for a service charge on top of the subtotal to support them. The place is only open Monday-Thursday 10:30am-1:30pm. If they tried opening for more days and longer hours their prices could be lower. They have no competition in the area for the types of foods they selland they clearly know it."

"Surprise dinner. We thought it was a late lunch in an afternoon. Beautiful interior, very quiet, peaceful and clean! You will have several lunch specialities in the afternoon, which will make it a welcome choice for expensive Kohala area. We were pleased to find out that they allow customers to bring their own drinks as they don't sell alcohol. After we were on the beach this afternoon, we had a cooler with a few beers, so we were allowed to bring in while we were waiting for our food. Our server was excellently provided promptly attentive service. I had the mahi plate lunch special with pan melated mahi, steamed sticky rice and sauteed vegetables delicious! Mahi was seasoned with beautiful sweet but spicy aromas, but not exaggerated. Hubby had the pad Thai and was equally happy. We really enjoyed our lunch experience here and go back when we return to the big island. Mahalo!"

"The service could have been better, but the food was so amazing that it wasn't even important. Everything is made fresh and the coffee is great. The homemade granola served in a Papaya was a perfect island breakfast. Delicious!"
