Alder Street Fish Shop - Kangaroo Flat

Was told this was the best fish and chip shop, what a let down the fish and chips were greasy and not the best we have eaten, value wise yes it was value for money , wouldn't rush back

This is our local fush shop and has been highly recommended even our friends from Bdllarat have to have fish and chips from here when they come across or are pasding through. Friends from Castlemaine are also very impressed with our local shop. On a Friday they have up to 10 people working flat out behind the counter. Just dhows how good it is. And Staff are fantastic

Folks just a heads up, have purchased fish and chips from this business on many occasions and overall have been happy, unfortunately Good Friday was not the best experience purchased tea Friday night, keeping in mind I only live approx. within a 2km radius by the time we went to eat the food was JUST warm which was disappointing

Really good fish and chips. Tasty. Not heaps of batter.. hamburger was pretty good too . Will go back

Nearby to our motel so walked down. Great fish, cooked to perfection. $3.00 minimum chips would feed an army and were very good. Quick service, clean and tidy very friendly staff.
