We have been to the restaurant once before, and had an amazing meal. This time, we went for restaurant week, and it was very disappointing. The spaetzl was over cooked, mushy, and full of garbanzo bean fillers. It was flavorless. The Amish chicken was over salted, and the chocolate cake dessert tasted more like bread pudding. Excellent food and service. We sat outside and the atmosphere is delightful. The food was excellent and not heavy at all. The drinks were fantastic as well.

Great atmosphere in a great location. Impeccable service. The food wasn’t for me. Particularly the cucumber salad. The weiner schnitzel was a little tough. Good potato salad tho. The sausages were decent as well. To be fair. We were just in New Branfels, and while those restaurants are German, the dishes are mostly the same but executed at a higher ls level.
We didn’t get the table I requested for my wife’s birthday and you menu was very limited! You use to have a wonderful charcuterie board and that’s what my wife wanted for her birthday, sad it’s no longer offered! You were slow and the service was slow! First time I ever took my wife to a restaurant and was not offered a dessert to celebrate! Expensive for the food and service!
