What User doesn't like about Shawarmar:
I went there when they first opened. The food took forever, and was cold and flavorless. We thought we'd give them a second chance. Surely if they survived covid they must have improved. I have never been so wrong.I must say, I'm impressed by how bad the food was. They were incredibly slow for us being the only car in line and they didn't wear a mask. They gave us the wrong order, but whatever we didn't want to wait... View all feedback.

The chicken shwarma and hummus were legit and made me feel like I was back in Saudi Arabia where we have lived for a few years. will definitely eat here again and try the other menu items.
Love this place! the staff is always friendly and they can say that eating is made fresh. my favorite places are the shish tawook bowl and the chicken kabob bowl. I love there is a drive for fast service!
Eating is great. didn't give them 5 because they run out of that stuff. bark meat lamb kebobs are some of the best in kc. the service is good, but very short handled, so it can take a while to get food. but it is worth definitiw.
I came by for some lunch because it's located very close to my workplace, and was pretty happy with the food I ordered. I ordered the #1 Shawarma and a #7 Shish Tawook meal. The service was good and not quite as slow as other reviews might have you think. The shawarma in pita bread was nicely seasoned and the garlic sauce spread throughout was actually delicious. The Shish Tawook meal was a little bit lackluster; the flavors were good but it tasted on the weaker side, personally I think it could've used more seasoning, especially in the rice. Unfortunately, the chicken in this dish was pretty dry.I do plan on returning here but definitely going to stick to the shawarma instead of getting the Shish Tawook again. The dessert and hot mint tea looked interesting and I intend to try them next time.
